Coaches who took this worksop in the past have said:
I faced a lot of my newly exposed fears. But I also learned to trust my own intuition more and really shift my TWIST on Marketing. It used to be a dirty word for me and now I look at it in a very different light. In a way it doesn't exist. I show up being me and make connections from my highest self and things work out. That's all. So in a way, your class got rid of a lot of my assumptions and fears regarding marketing.
I am amazed at how much happened in just one hour each time! You were fabulous. I liked it when you used words like client development, it resonated with me and took the edge off. Maybe focus a little on what is it about Marketing we don't like and what could it be so we would like it? That sort of thing for those of us who have hangups about the word itself!
Also, when you share your own experiences, it really adds so much more value and makes it all real. Sometimes I feel like I am the only one going through this, so knowing that someone like yourself has also gone through it and made it, is such a confirmation. Thank you so much, it was all great.
The main thing I take from the class is how many contacts I have right now. And working those just those contacts could take me a year or more. And that is without all the networking and new people I have been meeting or the speeches I am about to give. There is a comfort level knowing that just tapping my current resources and setting up a formal referral process with the people I know could be all I need to do. Knowing this helps me to relax and realize it doesn’t have to be so hard or forceful.
Thanks so much Vicki. This was great!
This program has been very valuable to me, and has gone along perfectly with the learning that has already been going in my life. As I summed up on the phone, I am on learning how to trust my Higher Self and I am running on my path- Coaching is a part of that path, and I must do it. My biggest shift has been changing my focus from coaching people with disabilities to coaching moms who are ready to get back into a career path or just life in general.
Thank you Vicki for organizing such a great program. I especially enjoyed all the exercises where we were becoming more aware of who we are, of our "being" and not our "doing". I have a "doing" business plan, but am now transforming it into a "being" business plan. Thank you also for helping me discover a medium to share and explore "being" through the treasure map exercise. I'm really enjoying it and will continue using it!
I had more exploratories during that time, than I had had for a while. I don't think we will know the total effect of this for a month, or two or three. It might be interesting to get feedback at those time intervals. I like that you mentioned frequently that although we need to walk the walk, it is essentially who we are, and our personal development that is required as well. Thanks again for having the marketing class. It got me to set a goal of finishing both my certification and credentialing this year.
