President's Letter

Greetings ICF-Long Island Community,

I hope you were all able to enjoy a peaceful and safe Thanksgiving, even if it may have been different than what we are used to. Of the many things we are grateful for at ICF-LI, one that rises to the top is to welcome Jeffrey Damm as our new Director of Public Relations, and Maria Jackson for her second term as Treasurer. Joshua Lissauer, incumbent Director of Public Relations, will continue to support chapter operations as Visual Art & Graphic Design volunteer.

Those of us who serve on the Board and in various support capacities are passionate about our volunteer roles. Our volunteers value Inclusion, Collaboration, Flexibility, and Trust. We are passionate and dedicated to the Profession of Coaching. We are just like you: people with vision, heart, and a desire to build community and contribute our time in service to the ICF Long Island Chapter. We gain so much in return:

  • Use skills we love, and build new ones
  • Grow and nurture our network
  • Build deeper understanding of our industry trends, and
  • Fill that space inside that wants to give back

We are always looking to welcome passionate volunteers at any commitment level, and there are many areas to be of service to the chapter.  Visit our website to find out more and get involved – I look forward to working with you!

Wishing you and your families health, love, and light this holiday season!
